On Friday we drove a portion of the Road to Hana. We have all done it before and had no interest going too far but definitely wanted to hike into the water falls and stop and the fruit stands. I'm pretty sure Scott's favorite part of the trip was taking a dip in the pools and playing in the falls.
Before we set off on the road we stopped at a local swap meet that Ann had researched and wanted to go to. It was fun, lots of locals selling authentic Hawaiian food, gifts and souvenirs. Scott loves coconut water so a lady cut one up for him to drink the water. When he was done with it she broke it in half and we ate the meat. I'll stick to flavored coconut water and sweetened, shredded coconut!
